Ezra at 9 Months
I can’t believe Ezra is nine months old! I tried taking photos of him this morning, but it was dark and rainy in Nashville and the photos turned out horrible (see above – ha!)). I am going to try again tomorrow. 🙂
Ezra is 18 lbs, 4 oz. He is in the 15th percentile for height, 30th percentile for weight and his head is in the 95th percentile.
He is doing pretty well with food. He loves his morning cereal and is FINALLY taking to more baby food. He also is doing well with small bits of solid food. He especially loves bananas!
He is extremely verbal. If you talk to him, he will often babble back to you. It’s hilarious.
He is not mobile at all. He hates being on his belly, and instead wants to be sitting up where all the action is. I am wondering if he will be a scooter like Adeline was. That said, he is constantly reaching and grabbing for everything. I know it won’t be long and am savoring the simplicity of him not being on the move! 🙂
He loves to be held and when I pick him up, he pats my shoulder/chest in delight. It is the best. This past week he has started getting very upset when I don’t pick him up. He just LOVES to be held.
I am still nursing in the morning and at night. During the day he has a mix of breast milk and formula.
Ezra is still getting up 1-2 times a night. I love snuggling with him, though I am exhausted.
Honestly, he is just the sweetest, most lovely baby. He has brought so much light and joy to our family.
We love Ezra!
Jessica,
One can almost feel his little personality developing through your photos. I have thought Ezra to be adorable ever since the first time I saw your blog. It is a blessing that he is so pleasant and happy. I hope you can savor the feeling of holding him. nursing him, just having him be so little. I know you will. I enjoyed the Edit your Life clip you did. I listened yesterday! I am learning much! Thank you
