Weekend Links | Time for You Edition
Happy weekend! We are FINALLY taking our tree down (though I’m totally sad about it, I know it is time) and I’m taking the bigs to see Norm of the North. Next weekend I leave for almost a full-week of travel, so I am looking forward to lots of family time.
Today is the last day to score The Fringe Hours for $1.99 on Kindle. It has been such a fun week, with the book landing in the top 100 on Wednesday and staying there for most of the week. Thank you for all your kind support.
If you have bought the book already, please consider a friend or family member that might benefit from the message of self-care and encourage them to download a copy. I don’t expect that we will see the book this cheap any time soon.
Reads of the Week {Fringe Hours Edition}
The 5 things I do to give my goals a fighting chance: If you don’t read The Art of Simple, you are missing out on some of the web’s best content. Tsh always inspires me to live better and more intentionally. This post is a great example how.
How to love better by loving yourself more: I got REALLY honest about my past year on this guest post on Ann Voskamp’s site, sharing a really hard recent friendship moment. An honor to be on her virtual porch.
That Time We Had To Cancel Our Cabin In the Snow: Kristen Welch’s storytelling always hits home, and this one about canceling a much-needed vacation, only to find that home was where she needed to be is an inspiring read.
8 tips to help you thrive as a mama: We all want to thrive, don’t we? Maggie Whitley is in the thick of it with two kids two and under and another on the way. I love these tips!
Find time for you in 2016: My monthly (in)courage post is an encouragement for you to take care of yourself.
Find of the Week
Something better than Stitch Fix? I have been a long-time Stitch Fix fan, but there are a few things I don’t love about the service. A friend just referred me to Trunk Club for Women and my first trunk is on its way. A few differences: no styling fee, 15 items (instead of 5), lower starting price point for clothes, a preview of your box before it ships – with the option to decline items and communicating with your stylist via email. I’m REALLY excited about it. Check it out.
