Target Sale: Buy 2, Get 1 Video Games, Movies, Books & Games

Target is running this fantastic promotion this week! All kids books, video games, movies, and games are Buy 2, Get 1 Free. This is a great chance to get a jump start on your Christmas shopping.

We love giving games for Christmas, so I bought a board game and a card game for each of my kids using this sale. My recommendation is to buy online and either have your purchases shipped free to your home (any size order ships free from Target.com through Dec. 22) or have them picked up at your local Target store.

If you’re going to be buying multiple sets of three, make sure to lump similar priced items together in separate purchases in order to maximize your savings. In my case, I placed an order for three card games, and then I placed a separate order for three board games that were all similarly priced. If you bought all of these items in one order, you’d just get the cheapest items for free (in my case, I would have gotten two $5 card games for free. Instead, I got a $5 card game and a $20 board game free). Of course, using your Red Card will save you an extra 5%. We have the debit version and I LOVE it.

You can mix and match games, books and movies and lots of items are less than $5 . Seriously, this is a fantastic way to save big.
