20 Easy Hostess Gifts everyone will love

The best part of the holidays for me? Spending time with people. And when a friend or family member opens up their home to invite me in—either for the first time or for a party—I love to show my appreciation with hostess gifts.
To make things easier on myself, I keep a list of items I know most any host would love. And today, I’m sharing that list with all of you!
Pro tip: if you find an item that works for you, stock up whenever it goes on sale!
Hostess Gifts under $20
When it comes to hostess gifts, remember: you don’t need to spend a lot money to show your appreciation. All of the items below are under $20. Include a hand written note and a hand with the dishes, and you’re all set!
Here are a few of my favorite treats to bring (all links are affiliate links):

Graza Olive Oil: This finishing oil boasts a bold flavor in an easy-to-drizzle bottle and looks nice sitting out on the countertop.

Cheese Board: A small cheese board with a knife and fork will get loads of use by the host at future dinner parties.

Geometry Towels: I always stock up on these kitchen towels, which have the best absorbency and come in so many beautiful print options. Use code TURNER15 for 35% off from now through 11/17.

Hot Honey: I’m pretty sure everything tastes better with a drizzle of hot honey.

Butter Crock: This simple dish keeps butter fresher longer—and at a perfectly spreadable consistency!

Maldon Sea Salt: The flakiest sea salt on the market—perfect for taking baked goods from tasty to irresistible.

The 5 Minute Journal: In just five minutes a day, this journal encourages positivity and mindfulness—a great way to start the new year!

Studio McGee Candle: The Cypress and Juniper candle is one of my favorite scents from the Threshold line with Studio McGee. Such a great smell for this time of year and the price is right!

Large Ice Cube Tray: These silicone molds make ice cubes that last and look great too. And this set of three can be split for a more-affordable gift!

John Derian Candy Dish: How sweet is this candy dish from the new John Derian line at Target? Sure to become a holiday for anyone lucky enough to snag it!

If you don’t have time to purchase a gift in advance, you can always stop by the grocery store on the way. Grab fresh-baked muffins or bagels with cream cheese, and tell your host that tomorrow’s breakfast is on you!
