I am from the Elmira, NY area. That would be a neat resource to have. I bet the information in it is awesome. I love reading the posts about Elias. Our daughter, Camielle, was born around the same time. I think she was a day or two later. She was on July 13th.

    Have a blessed day!

  21. Hello there! I live in Louisville, KY. I’ve been reading your blog for a few weeks, ever since I began reading Angie’s blog. You all remind me so much of me and my group of girlfriends. Congratulations on Elias! He’s beautiful.

  22. Hi there :]

My boyfriend, Jon, and I are so excited about reading Churched. It sounds just like something Jon would write (except in his sarcastic tone, of course 😉

Congrats on the beautiful baby boy. I love the pictures you have of him :]

I live in Kingwood, Texas. It is just outside Houston.

  23. OK, the comment I deleted above boasted that I was the first commenter outside of the US, but then I re-read the list again and saw you have a comment from Canada, so I’ll try again:

Oooh, first commenter outside of North America!

I’m in Southampton, on the South Coast of England, and like a couple of others, I found you via Angie. Lots of love from this side (the colder side) of the pond…

  24. Hi, I’ve been reading your blog for a few weeks now and I’ve enjoyed it very much. I’m from eastern NC.

  28. I live in Grand Blanc, Michigan!
I love reading your blog and your husbands!! You guys are fantastic and your son is adorable!!

  29. Hi from sunny and very hot Orlando, Florida! I’d so love to win that book. Just reading the explanation I knew it’s a topic I could really use insight on right now. I find it hard to decipher God’s answers to my prayers. I also have trouble finding time to have “quality” prayer time with God. Here’s hoping I’m one of the lucky random winnners! Thanks!

  30. OK……I live on an island on the west coast of Canada.
I enjoy both of your blogs and am kind of new to the whole bloggy world

  31. Hi Jessica,

  32. Hi Jessica,
I’ve been following your blog for quite awhile now from Central Texas. (Hopped over from Angie’s.) I try not to comment too often – makes me feel less like a crazy stalker – which I guess I am – but I’m a quiet stalker. 🙂 Anyway, love checking in on you and sweet Elias. He is beautiful. My daughter says he looks just like my boys’ and her baby pictures. He actually does, which is probably why I think he’s beautiful – that and the fact that he really is. And by the way, I follow your husband’s blog too. He is completely hysterical. Enjoy these moments with Elias. They go so fast.

  33. I would love to get this book! I have recently started an email based prayer group with some girls that are spread around the country. I’d enjoy some insight on prayer as we continue our journey… maybe we could pass it around and recycle the freebie:)

    A suburban Chicago reader:)

    Tasha

  34. Hi Jessica, I live in rural Riverside, Iowa. I’m a first time poster, it’s sad you had to have a give away for me to post 🙂 I felt that watching you on your little video clips in the hospital and since I’ve gotten to know you a little. You seems so fun, as does your husband. My husband and myself have similar backgrounds as your husband, so your husbands blog has been great to read! Looking forward to his book coming out. Anyway, so that’s not short, but I felt bad for just lurking this whole time. I enjoy your blog, and congrats on little Elias, he’s a doll!
    Sarah

  35. I'm from Southeast Missouri and after going through L&D with ya'all I can't stop "watching" for updates on your little cutie. Thanks for sharing.

  47. My hubby was just on the phone with me for an hour, upset, because he didn’t know if it was “okay” to pray and believe that God was going to use him as a musician. It’s his dream, but he’s so confused. He wants to do what God wants.

So I’m def. entering this giveaway! I live in KC, Missouri.

  48. Hi Jessica,

  62. Jessica,
Interesting that I found this post, I have been questioning all of my prayers. We lost our son on Valentine’s Day this year, and have since lost 2 through MC. I am struggling terribly with my faith right now. It looks like I should read this to see what prayers are really being answered.

Alot of the books I get my hands on get donated to my church’s library OR the favs I keep and will circulate amongst the peeps!
I live in Wisconsin but wish I could move to a warmer area…maybe Nashville?!

  66. Hey Jessica,

  67. Hey, Jessica, I live in Midlothian, TX, and enjoy hearing your updates. The book on orayer sounds awesome as I know my prayers are answered BUT I tend to overlook that if they aren’t answered obviously.
Enjoy being at home with Elias. Even though when you do return to work, know it will be bittersweet. I actually was a better mom once I returned because I had “me” productive time and then when I was at home, I cherished the time and was more efficient in all areas. I encourage my fellow new mommies that it will be good!
    Kathleen

  125. Dearest Lord,

Here I reside in El Cajon, California, in the eastern proximity of San Diego. I pray for thine divine guidance in Jessica, Lord, thus granting her to randomly chooseth my humble soul to receivith this literary collection of knowledge concerning divine meditation and supplication.

  129. Hey Jessica,

I’ve gotten hooked on reading your blog about litte Elias from Angie’s blog. What a great family with such great faith. I’ve picked up a couple of your husband’s books and I am hooked.

I live in Sioux Falls, SD.

  132. Hello,
I am from a tiny town,Covinton, Indiana, and I love how easy it is to relate to you guys. Your blog is quite refreshing.

  133. Hey Jessica,
I live in Nashville down the street from you, and I would like the book because I need to help my friend Matthew out who needs to learn how to pray. He is a lovely lad, yet the questions he asks me about prayer are so hard that I don’t always know how to answer. For instance, one time he asked me to pray for a boy named sue.
I was horrified. I guess I just didn’t know where to begin. Anyway thank you for listening. Keep me in your prayers!

  134. Hi Jessica,
I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan! I found your blog through Angie’s, and I am a regular reader! Congratulations on Elias! He is adorable!

  135. Reading from Miami, Florida (and wondering more about prayer as I currently pray that tropical waves/depressions/storms veer away from land…)

  136. Hi Jessica- I live in Savannah, Ga and found your blog months ago through Angie’s. I have enjoyed so much reading about your pregnancy (I am due in December), hearing about Elias and your awesome scrapbooking ideas. As I get more and more pregnant and less and less energetic, I would love to have a book to read- especial a Christian one! Congrats and GL!

  139. Hi Jessica,

This may be past your Friday night comment dead line, as I am reading late tonight. I have linked to your blog from Angie’s back when you were writing for her during Audrey’s delivery. I have enjoyed your writing and seeing your beautiful Elias! I’m writing tonight from Magnolia TX.

  140. Hi Jessica,
I really enjoy your husband’s books. The one you are giving away sounds very interesting too, although I’m not sure if you gave it away yet…

I’m from right here in Nashville, TN! I was trying to see if I was the only one, but there are way too many comments.

Congrats on your baby boy. My daughter is turning one tomorrow. They really do grow up so fast.

P.S. My family is looking for a church since we very recently moved here. Do yall have any suggestions? Thanks so much! God Bless – Christy
