The Best in Baby Scrapbooking
As a new mom and avid scrapbooker, having a baby has changed my perspective about this hobby. While I have considered myself a scrapbooker for years, my style has evolved. It started out very simple, then became more complex as I learned new techniques and applied more design principles to my layouts. Since having Elias, I have found my style becoming simpler again, but an improved simple from the early days. 🙂 I crave simplicity as I record stories about Elias. The stories and pictures are what are important to me – not the latest techniques or layers and layers of embellishments. At the end of the day, I believe he and his family will be grateful for the stories and pictures – not that I used the latest chipboard from Basic Grey, you know?
With limited time and resources, I began searching for the best products available to help me tell stories about his first year. The volume of scrapbooking products available can be overwhelming. My hope is that the products and projects I feature this week will inspire you.
Scrapbooking does not have to be hard or complex. It is simply a creative way to tell stories. Don’t let it be overwhelming. This hobby has enriched my life in so may ways. If you are a scrapbooker, you know what I mean. If you are not, check in each day. I hope you will get a glimpse of how special this hobby is.
Thanks to the generosity of the following manufacturers/people, I will offer one or several prize packages every day. Each giveaway will be open for one week (so check back every day next week to see if you won!)

You will be automatically receive an entry every day if you put The Best in Baby Scrapbooking button on your blog. I will only know this though if you leave a comment on the button post (linked here). If you tell me you put the button up on any other post, it will not count. You can also leave a comment on each day’s post (so that is two entries a day (starting Monday) if you put the button on your blog!)
At the end of the week, I will do two drawings just for people who posted the button to their blog. One person will receive The Busy Scrapper, the newest book by Courtney Walsh. The other will receive a Xyron 250, one of my favorite adhesive machines.

I am so thrilled you are doing this. Your words about how your scrapbooking has evolved since having a child is the same thing I went through. My son is now 17 months and I hope he treasures my scrapbooks someday as a gift to him…..my story and my life! What a great gift!
