World Vision Wednesday

This past week we received our itineraries for our World Vision bloggers trip to the Dominican Republic (DR).

Receiving it made everything feel real, you know?

I am so excited.

Because I will be flying Elias up to Wisconsin to stay with my family for the week, I will not be flying with Matthew down to the DR. (I will be flying there directly from Milwaukee.)

I will be leaving Monday, May 2, early in the morning and will get to the DR that afternoon. Thankfully, I will only be flying the first leg by myself. During the second leg, I will be meeting up with Andrea and her son T. It will be so nice to fly with them and get to the DR together.

Matthew will actually be arriving in the DR with some other World Vision folks a day early (on Sunday), so I will be glad to have him there when I arrive.

This morning I bought Elias’s and my ticket to Wisconsin using FlexPerks points, so our travel arrangements will be all set! (FlexPerks rocks my world. We earn airline miles for using our debit card! We don’t do credit cards, so this is always so cool to me.)

I am hoping our free luggage tags arrive before the trip.
