Recipes from Pinterest
One of the many things I love about Pinterest is finding new recipes. I have been in a bit of a recipe rut this year (it could have been the whole being pregnant and having a baby thing…).
However, in the past few months I have made so many delicious recipes thanks to Pinterest. I thought I would share a few of my favorites today. Maybe you will be inspired to add something new to your family’s menu.

This is a super easy crock pot recipe. Very sweet. A nice change. We served it with rice, as suggested.

I love, love, love this soup. Not too complicated and soooo delicious. If you make one thing from this blog post, make this.

We had some friends over for dinner and I decided I hated the dessert options I had bought, so I whipped these up. They were very easy and a-maz-ing. Very flavorful and moist. I recommend dividing the frosting in half, as there was WAY too much leftover (but I just spread it on with a knife and didn’t pile it high, like the picture).

My recommendation is to skip pumpkin pie this year and make pumpkin dump cake instead. It is DIVINE. It is very sweet, so I recommend serving small pieces with ice cream. Perfect!
TIP: On Pinterest I have a completed pins board (I think one of you gave me that idea!) and I love adding pins to it. It is total motivation to bake and create the things I have pinned. (I simply repin anything that I have on another board to completed pins once I have created the item.)
Do you have any favorite recipes that you have found on Pinterest? if so, share them in the comments, along with your Pinterest name!
yay! I think I might have been the one with the completed pin suggestion! 🙂 I tried the first recipe, I haven’t tried the rest yet 🙂
Those look good! You have to try these white chicken enchiladas. Pretty easy and Patrick went on and on about how good they were: http://pinterest.com/pin/142074563214302240/
I definitely will!
I just started on Pinterest a couple of weeks ago and have found some really great recipes as well. For my first attempt, I am going to try this one: http://pinterest.com/pin/137570963586932576/
I love the idea of a completed pins board. I also need to find a way to move the recipes that we tried and liked from pinterest and into my recipe binder!

Thanks for sharing yours, I like new recipes!
I have been really wanting to make a potato soup!
oh oh question question, I’m raising my hand!! For the pumpkin dump cake, do you seriously just dump the cake mix as is over the top? Or do you need to follow the cake box instructions and make the cake batter and then dump that on top? This looks so delicious and really super easy to convert to gluten free, just use a box of gluten free cake mix!
yep, you sure do!
Alright! I happen to have a package of GF cake mix with a few tablespoons missing out of it that I had no idea what to do with. I accidentally mistook the cake mix for flour a few weeks ago (the GF flour and GF cake mix I have are in similar looking boxes). And so yep, I put GF cake mix into our fettuccine alfredo the other other night on accident. It was really sweet and we couldn’t figure out why. It wasn’t until the next day that a light bulb went on in my head and realized what I had done. Oops!! Anyhow, I was worried about making the cake mix because now the ratios would be all off, but I’ll just dump it on top of this instead!
Yay! I followed your lead and also created a “Completed Pins” board. It’s a great way to see what you’ve tried and to keep track of the results. Love, love, love Pinterest!
I’m always looking for fun new people to follow so thanks for this post!

I am so interested in pinterest but I tried to get on and I have been put on a waiting list. Do you have any idea what this is about??
Same with me!
I made the pumpkin dump cake, too! It is divine and so EASY! 🙂
Wow I must confess you make some very trhencnat points.
I too like to see completed boars and like having food recipes broken down into categories. Some of mine even follow-up a board about making a particular seasonal card. I invite anyone to come visit my Pinterest site at: http://pinterest.com/redhatstamper.I would love to get anyone’s feedback since I am fairly new at this. Thanks.

I made the dump cake for christmas this year, it was so good. Try cool whip with the cake. I would like to see if anyone on pinterest would have the potatoe soup recipe from the Chisholm Trail Restraunt . Located in Round Rock, Texas.
