What would you add to this list of Father’s Day gift ideas?
Thanks for the ideas got a couple off the list 🙂
Awesome. That is why I did it – to inspire others.
Great Ideas!
Thank you!
Love the free coupon printable… thanks for passing that along! XO
My pleasure!
Wow! That’s a lot of links! Great gift ideas. Thanks for compiling this.
WHEW! Yes it is. 🙂 I hope it is helpful. I had a lot of fun doing it and found a couple great ideas for the dads in my life.
Great ideas!
I would also add a gift card for a massage, a basket of skin care (especially moisturizer with SPF (Kiehl’s makes a great one), shaving stuff, etc.)
Thanks for compiling this list!
I think today is the last day for the free Ellen shutterfly book promo? I need to remember to put one together/order one tonight! Planning on giving that to hubby as part of his Father’s Day gifts this year.
Love this list! Always amazed at those who can put together something this comprehensive! Do you know if the ESPN offer is still available? I’ve tried ordering it, but it says it’s not valid. Thanks again!
G-ma & G-pa take the kids! A “quiet” day… Wait. What’s that??
Thanks so much for the really great ideas!!! I was just feeling clueless this morning… 🙂
So glad it helped!
I make either a photo collage or slide show of the best photos of daddy with kiddo since last father’s day. It’s great to look at even long after 🙂
I made a photo book for Matthew one year that was very similar!
We always have the boys fill out a little “fill in the blank” about Dad … My dad is … and a bunch of questions that they fill in the blanks. Same questions every year age 2-10yrs (of child) and then after age 10 they write a poem or note. We put these in a book with a few photos of them and dad for the year, so each year the book (photo album) grows up with them and gets more full of good memories. It’s a hand-made treasure (not too expensive, but priceless). It is never too late to start this tradition. Next year you may wish you did it this year 🙂
I love, love, love this idea! Would you be willing to share the questions?
My daddy is ______ years old.
He weighs ________ and is __________ tall.
His hair is ________________ and his eyes are _______________.
My dad loves to ________________ and he likes to wear ________________.
He loves to cook ________________________.
His favorite chore is _____________________________.
His favorite TV show is ______________________________.
His favorite song is _______________________________.
Daddy always tells me _____________________________.
It makes him happy when __________________________.
When my dad shops he likes to buy ___________________________.
If he could go on a trip, he would go _________________________ and he would take ____________________.
I really love it when my daddy ____________________________.
We have gotten some funny and sweet answers … I ask the children their answers in separate rooms so they don’t influence one another. As they age, the answers become less hilarious (like my dad is “this big” tall and weighs “one pound” and his favorite chore is “wiping the counters” to something more sweet like I really love it when dad and I cuddle and read our Bible together. Treasures. If they add in any of their own ideas, I just write those down too. Like, my seven year old one year ended with “My daddy is AWESOME!” and I put that in the list. If your family isn’t into much TV (as ours is growing into being a very sparing TV watching fam) you could put “HIs favorite game or board game …
Hope this helps many 🙂 I got this list from Once Upon A Family when they were in business.
Where the heck are the top kitchen ideas! BOOO!!!!
I did mention BBQ. 🙂 Something to remember for next year. I didn’t say it was exhaustive. 🙂
It would be impossible to do an exhaustive list … you did a great job putting a lot of effort into getting us many links. That took a lot of precious time on your part — and for free to all of us. Thanks.
I love how you thought of every type of guy and not just the sports and outdoor types! My husband would rather read all day to relax! So he is probably getting a kindle gift card for his beloved kindle.
Thanks Jess! I clicked the link to your power mat and it took me to the wrong site – can you please fix? And what model do you havE? I want to buy one but they’re not getting great reviews on Amazon… Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks, Amanda
So sorry about that. I would fix it but every time I go into the post the code gets wonky and I have to redo ALL of the bullets. Here it is: http://www.amazon.com/Powermat-PMM-PT100-Portable-with-Powercube/dp/B002JCSAWM/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1338923941&sr=8-7 Like I said, we love it – and have been using it for more than two years.
My hubby is soooo hard to buy for, but I found several things in this list I know he’d enjoy. Thanks a TON!!
Thank you so much for sharing this list! It gave me several ideas for the men on my christmas list this year!!

Thanks for the awesome ideas but my dad is quite musical so maybe that’s what you’re missing ?
Maybe some of the ideas under entertainment fit for a musically oriented person (concert tickets?) … also, a CD or I-Tunes card are in that list. You could put together a gift box with a CD, some snacks he enjoys, tickets to a concert … Just thinking off the top of my head. Or a gift card to the local music store if he plays music so he can buy upgrades to his instrument, etc.
Link exchange is nothing else but it is simply placing the other person’s blog link on your page at proper place and other person will also do similar in support of you.
Greetings from Los angeles! I’m bored to death at work
so I decided to check out your website on my iphone during lunch
break. I really like the info you present here and can’t
wait to take a look when I get home. I’m shocked at how fast your blog loaded on my phone ..
I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow, very good site!
We’d like to add our personalised My dad.. book to your list!
Have a look at a virtual demo book http://www.love2read.co.uk/index.php?option=com_createbook&task=demo&bid=10
Hated this website couldn’t find ANYTHING for my husband. Could not be worse, don’t waste your time on this website. Not usefull, I have been researching all morning and by far this is the worst website.
Sincerly,
Debsie Martha Ellanora Elizabeth Victoria Ann Williams
I was wondering what would be the best gift for a father who is in the nursing home due to a stroke? Since he is unable to move around, there is not much I can really give him that is on this list. He does not watch movies and does not listen to music, so tech devices are not going to work. I was thinking some kind of inanimate object like a statue or vase, but I don’t want it to look tacky. Plants are not going to work because the care takers will not water them and neither will he.
