Free Canvas for Father’s Day
There’s still time to make an amazing canvas – for free – for that special Dad in your life. Get a free 8×10 photo canvas from Canvas People or $50 off a larger size.
This is a canvas I made a while back of Matthew holding Elias. I just love that shot.
Canvases make wonderful gifts. These typically take less than 10 minutes (including the upload your photo part!). The Canvas People deal can be taken advantage of multiple times, so if you have gotten a free canvas before, you can make another one.
Shipping is $14,95, but that still makes this the cheapest 8×10 canvas deal around!
What do you do with the canvas when you no longer want to have that print up…can you recycle them or any ideas for reusing them?
You know, I haven’t gotten there yet. 🙂 I do have some that I rotate since they are so economical. I suppose you could take it off the wood mount (then it would be a flat piece of canvas) and put it in an album.
I saw a home decorating diy site where the writer took canvases and painted them, decoupaged them or otherwise turned them into new pieces of art. Since you ordered the print originally, you already have the digital copy of the photo which can be kept on a CD or in a photo book, so it’s not as though you’d be losing that image. It might be hard to paint over our little ones, though!
What a good idea!
I call that the “mountain lion hold” because the baby looks like a mountain lion on a tree limb. 🙂
