Project Life Tuesday: June Link-Up
Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2014 If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome. I hope you will stay awhile. I’m Jessica – wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a silly and spirited five-year-old, and Adeline, a spunky two-year-old. I’m also a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all. The first Tuesday of every month, I share my most recent spreads as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures/layouts. Some links are affiliate links.
Well, I have done ZERO Project Life work this month. Thankfully, when I did my marathon last month, I went ahead and completed more pages that I shared in case I found myself in this predicament. I have been throwing up non-stop thanks to my pregnancy, although if you saw my Facebook update, I have found some relief thanks to some new medicine.
The first spread are from my dad’s visit this spring. On the Design D page (which is a page I don’t use often), I used two vertical 4×6 cards to do the journaling.
I also added an insert for some Instagrams.
The next spread has photos from our book party. I used a Design A and a Design G page for the photos from the party.
Funny side story: The other day Adeline put her purse on her shoulder and said, I’m going to work!” I said, “what do you do at work?” She replied, very matter-of-factly, “I gonna write a book, then I gonna have a book party.”
Naturally. 🙂
Then I added in an insert of Instagrams and cards from the Just Add Color HSN kit.
The next spreads are very simple – just photos and words.
The last spread is all from my trip to NYC at the beginning of April.
A word of encouragement – memory keeping is about documenting your story. It is not meant to be stressful. I could get caught up in the fact that I am two months “behind” but I am not going to. Instead, I’m living life, celebrating our story (and a new baby!) and doing what I can. It might mean less embellishments or more photos sitting on my hard drive, and that’s okay. 🙂
Can’t wait to see your pages!
Looks like you have been very busy! Congratulations on your pregnancy. Hope you are feeling much better now.
Congratulations on your baby! You did a lot of pages! I am caught up through Easter, but the momentum has just started. 🙂 Happy Scrappin’!
I love seeing this! I’m inspired to get the pictures I picked up from Costco into the PL album! I cleaned off the dining room table and haven’t done anything since….see what happens when you clean up? 🙂
