Massive Kindle Sale on the Year’s Best Books
YEOW!
Today only Amazon is offering up to 80% off on the kindle versions of the Goodreads Choice Awards finalists and winners. Check out the full sale here. Here are my top 5 recommendations:
Homegoing: This was my favorite read of 2016. If you buy one book on this list, buy this one. ($3.99)
Salt to the Sea: If you enjoy historical fiction about World War II, this is a must-read.
America’s First Daughter: This on my list for 2017 and you can’t beat the $1.99 price!
Sleeping Giants: I’m not much of a sci fi girl, but after loving Dark Matter and since this book was both a Book of the Month select earlier this year and Anne Bogel (Modern Mrs. Darcy and reader extraordinaire) raved about it, I’m giving it a go. It’s low-risk at $1.99.
Lab Girl: This memoir was not on my radar, but after reading all the awards and notable lists it was on (including The Washington Post’s Memoir of the Year), I immediately downloaded it. ($3.99)
Though not a part of the Goodreads sale, I wanted to mention that you can also get the following on sale right now:
Love Warrior: This was one of my book club selects for 2016 and one of my top 10 books of the year. I was blown away by Glennon’s transparency in the book.
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society: It seems everyone who has read this book, loves it and it has never been this cheap. ($1.99)
